Study Abroad in Malawi, Africa
Your cross-cultural experience awaits
African Bible College’s (ABC) Study Abroad Program will combine excellent academics, cross-cultural ministry, and personal engagement in a unique and challenging setting. ABC’s program provides an opportunity for students to enjoy the rich interaction with other college students in Africa, learn from expatriate and Malawian professors, and study alongside other international students who are on the same journey. This cross-cultural program helps students understand the challenges faced by developing nations and teaches them to respond in an informed and helpful Christ-like manner.
Program Overview

Courses may include Cultural Anthropology, Biblical Worldview, and Community Development courses.

Along with receiving course credits students will live, learn and experience Malawi, also known as the “Warm Heart of Africa.” During the four-week program students will visit Lake Malawi, climb Nkhoma Mountain, and participate in local outreach ministries.

Upon request, students may sign up for a weekend homestay with an ABC graduate to experience a deeper level of cross-cultural engagement.

Students who apply to participate in ABC’s Study Abroad Program for review by Study Abroad. Students must be accepted by the program in order to participate in ABC’s Student Abroad Program.

Accreditation: African Bible College in Malawi is accredited by TRACS. All college credits taken at ABC campus are transferable to universities in the United States.
